The Black War mounts are TBC's original PvP prestige rewards. These armored racial mounts require 90 battleground marks total: 30 from Alterac Valley, 30 from Warsong Gulch and 30 from Arathi Basin. Marks only drop from wins so you're looking at 90 victories minimum spread across three different battlegrounds.
The grind punishes casual players. Queue times vary wildly by faction and time of day. A losing streak in one BG means you're stuck farming that specific mark while your others sit unused. Most players burn out before completing even one mount.
