TBC Stormherald Crafted on Your Character – BiS Arena Two-Handed Mace
The Thunder weapon chain is the reason Arms Warriors take Mace Specialization. Thunder, Deep Thunder and Stormherald form a crafted upgrade line for Master Hammersmiths. Deep Thunder sits at item level 125 with a 3.80 speed. Stormherald pushes to item level 136 with 398-598 base damage. The stat line on both favors Strength, Agility and Stamina. The real value is the proc: a chance on hit to stun the target for 4 seconds.
Mace Specialization gives Warriors an additional chance to stun on every critical strike. In Arena, a single stun chain can decide the match. No Phase 2 weapon from Serpentshrine Cavern or Tempest Keep gives this combination of damage and crowd control. Deep Thunder carries you through Season 1. Stormherald dominates from Season 2 through Season 4.
The barrier is always specialization. You need Master Hammersmith to equip any of these maces. That means Blacksmithing 375 plus the Hammersmith quest line. Most players do not want to drop a profession or grind a specialization just for one weapon chain. Getboost’s team removes that problem.
