The Living Infernal Core is a ~1% drop from Gul'dan, the final boss of The Nighthold. That means a full 10-boss clear every attempt, once per difficulty per week, with no guarantee you'll ever see it. Players have been farming this raid for years and plenty of them still don't have the mount.
