Pit of Saron is one of eight dungeons in Midnight Season 1's M+ rotation and the first Wrath of the Lich King dungeon to ever enter Mythic+.
This three-boss instance runs through Icecrown's saronite mines and ends with Scourgelord Tyrannus. The dungeon is infamous for its gauntlet section where falling ice and constant adds overwhelm groups that don't know the route. Even experienced players struggle with Forgemaster Garfrost's Permafrost stacks if they don't break line of sight at the right moments.
